What Is CBGO? Nano

👍 Share:

CBGo is a proprietary CBG that’s water-soluble made with “nano-technology.” Sometimes, products like this are a bit gimmicky because cannabinoids aren’t really water-soluble — they’re fat-soluble. However, manufacturers can force it to behave like a water-soluble compound, by making it super small so that it appears like it’s dissolving in water. The point of this is to make CBG easier to absorb, but if you’re taking a good dose of CBG, this isn’t really necessary.

With so many “new” products entering the cannabis market, it’s important to be aware of the differences between marketing strategies and science-backed claims. While CBGo may be a bit of a marketing strategy, it represents the real effects of CBG and why taking a good dose of it may be beneficial.

Benefits of CBGo

The benefits of CBGo primarily center on enhancing mental clarity, focus, and energy. Given that a good dose of CBG, like our CBG products, which have fairly high doses of CBG, generally produce the same effects as CBGo, the focus is really on the benefits of CBG.

CBG is known for its potential neuroprotective properties, which may help support brain health, memory, and concentration. Users might find CBGo beneficial for:

  1. Enhanced Focus: CBG is thought to be able to support a clearer, sharper mind, making it easier to concentrate on tasks or projects. While we wait on research to back up this claim, testimonies of CBG users support the fact that many users find enhanced focus when using CBG.
  2. Increased Productivity: CBG supports a more productive work or study session by reducing mental fog. CBG has immune-supporting properties that may help with the body’s internal processes that manage inflammation in the brain [1]. Chronic inflammation is often linked to mental fog and cognitive issues, so by supporting the body’s systems that manage this, CBG might contribute to clearer thinking and a sharper mind.
  3. Stress Reduction: CBG binds to receptors in the ECS—primarily CB1 and CB2 receptors — that influence the release of neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA. This influence may mean that CBG can potentially increase levels of GABA, a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation. By enhancing GABA, CBG can help calm the nervous system, providing stress relief without the sedative effects associated with some other cannabinoids, like THC or CBN.
  4. Natural Energy Boost: Some users report a subtle, non-jittery increase in energy with CBG products, supporting motivation and endurance. While this boost isn’t comparable to caffeine's effects, many users prefer this subtle boost.

What CBGo Products to Choose

Considering CBGo is a proprietary CBG, you aren’t likely to find too many CBGo products on the market.

American Shaman’s proprietary CBGo products have good formulas. Our favorite comes from an already beloved candy, CBGo Gummy Rings. These CBGo cherry-flavored gummy rings contain 10 mg of CBG and 3.5 mg of CBD per serving. This serving doesn’t necessarily offer more of a “go” effect than a CBG product with a higher dose of CBG, but its fun gummy form matches its playful name.
