Insider Scoop: CBD Skincare Doesn't Work...
Table of Content
Hey Health-Seekers
Can we have an honest conversation about why most CBD skincare doesn't work?
By taking a closer look at popular CBD skincare brands, let's zero in on the simple reason behind why they're not all that they're chocked up to be.
Why Doesn't CBD Skin Care Work?
A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found widespread mislabeling of CBD products being sold online. Essentially, manufacturers and businesses are cashing in BIG TIME on misinformed CBD consumers.
CASE & POINT: CBD skincare.
While it might actually be real CBD in these products, often times CBD is added in low-doses to a product in order to call it a CBD skin cream, when it is really just a skin cream, with a teensy bit of CBD in it.

A Closer Look At Popular CBD Skincare Brands
While it's true that CBD can indeed have incredible skin benefits, if you don't have a high dosage of CBD in the product, then it's probably not doing much.
For example, in the image above, you'll notice a 100MG CBD serum.
Assuming this 1oz. bottle will last for 35 uses, your average dollop for a 100MG CBD oil will contain just under 3MG of CBD per serving.
Once this serving has been spread out across the face or neck, you won't be getting any of CBD's skincare benefits because it just isn't enough CBD.
This isn't to say that these products don't have other beneficial skincare ingredients that will nourish the skin, it's just saying that you're better off buying a cheap skincare product without CBD if you're going to buy it at such low potency.
High Potency Skin Care Is The Answer
The higher the potency, the better the likelihood that you'll get the benefits you're looking to get out of CBD skin care, including support for:
- Brighter skin appearance
- Regulating oil production
- Healthy inflammatory function
Take for instance our Neurogan CBD Cooling Rub available in strengths of 500-2,000MG. In a dollop of our CBD 2,000MG Cooling Rub, there is up to 60MG of CBD per serving.
When you spread the cooling rub on an ache or pain, this highly concentrated amount is soaking deep into the skin.

Different Types of CBD Skincare
Daily CBD skincare is touted for supporting an even skin tone and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Chilly peppermint rub is made with ingredients that go directly to the source of your discomfort for the ease you need to keep doing what you love: hiking, golfing, yoga, and more.
New to CBD skincare? Start with CBD balm. Minor aches are greeted by a smooth, hydrating balm with ingredients that support joints and mobility.
Treat yourself or your partner to a nourishing massage! Vitamin E, jojoba, avocado, and safflower oil brilliantly combine to support the skin's moisture, while an organic lavender and natural hemp scent bring an aromatherapeutic effect.
